Stratford University Baseball Signs 3 Key Players

Friday, May 19, 2017 was a good day for the Stratford University Baseball Program.  Coach Allen Elledge has announced the signing of 3 players from the States of Virginia, Florida and New Jersey. Infielder Brian Harris of Northumberland (VA) High School, Left Hand Pitcher Jonathan Plaja of Timberton Township (NJ) High School and Infielder Jorge Hernandez of Reagan (FL) High School have officailly committed to play baseball for the Cardinals.  Stratford continues to build its inaugural team and with the addition of Harris, Plaja and Hernandez, the Caridnals are making a statement that they are prepared to compete in the USCAA.  "I am very excited that we have received the commitments of these quality student-athletes", said Coach Elledge.  "We have been able to increase the talent in our infield and add a strong left hand pitcher to our rotation".

The Cardinals open the 2018 season on 2/2/18 at home against Florida National University.
