Women's Soccer travels to Wilmington, NC this Weekend

The Stratford University Women's Soccer team will travel Wilmington, NC this weekend to participate in the Port City Soccer Classic.  The Port City Classic is hosted by Cape Fear Community College and will be played at Cape Fear Academy.  On Saturday 8/26/17 the Lady Cardinals will play the #18 ranked JUCO team in the nation, Cape Fear at 2:00pm and will play Howard Community College on Sunday 8/27/17 at 10:30pm.  Saturday's game is historic for Stratford as it is the first time an athletic team has ever taken the field.  "We are very excited to finally get on the field and showcase the talent we have recruited"' said Head Coach Al Cousineau.  "We are a young team with only 2 sophomores on our roster.  However, the team has a lot of speed up front, which I think will put us in some good situations offensively." The Lady Cardinals consist of players from the States of Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland.
