Baseball sweeps Weekend Series vs Paul D Camp with victory Sunday

The Baseball team won their fourth game in a row on Sunday. The Cardinals beat Paul D Camp 21-3, to sweep the 3-game weekend series.

Stratford University got on the board in the first inning when Justin Smith singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs. The Cardinals followed with six more that inning to push the score to 8-0. The hot bats continued in the second inning, with Stratford notching nine more runs. The offensive onslaught was led by Jorge HernandezDondre GordonJordan CarterAustin Elledge, and Justin Smith, all driving in runs in the inning.

Alec Frazier toed the rubber for Stratford University Cardnials. He lasted three innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out three and walking zero; earning his second win on the year. Brian Harris and Brady Hill both tossed scoreless frames to help close the game.

The team had 14 hits in the game. Jorge HernandezKevin Garcia, Justin Smith, Austin Elledge and Dondre Gordon all managed multiple hits for the Stratford University Cardnials. The defense held and didn't commit a single error in the field. 

The Cardinals return to action at home, Tuesday February 27th @ 4:00pm against the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats.
