Five Cardinals land in double figures in road victory

The fifth ranked Stratford University Men's Basketball team took to the road on Saturday afternoon, and they came away with a 97-67 victory over Clinton College.  The victory moves the Cardinals to 4-0 on the season and also moves them to 1-0 in EMAC action.  Five SU players reached double figures, led by 24 points by Kendall Shepherd, also scoring in double figures were Kendall Marshall (16 points), Saiquan White (13 points), Chris Reid (12 points) and DeAndre Demiel (10 points). 

Demiel paced the Cardinals with 10 assists and 3 steals in the victory, while Jamonte Ricks pulled down a team high 8 rebounds.  Stratford connected on nine three pointers in fifteen attempts and shot 53% from the field on the afternoon.
