After the starting the season with six straight wins, the Stratford University men's basketball fell to The Apprentice School on Sunday afternoon, 96-87, in a physical game which saw 46 fouls called.  The 4th ranked Cardinals were led by Ronald Davis, who turned in another double-double, as he scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while DeAndre Demiel added 17 points.  Jashad Jamison and Dominque Williams added 11 and 10 points in the loss, while Kendall Shepherd had a game high 5 assists.  

The 7th ranked Builders shot 52.4% from the field for the game and answered each run the Cardinals made during the last ten minutes of the game.  The two teams will meet again on January 19th and potentially again in the EMAC conference tournament.  

Stratford fall to 6-1 on the year and 1-1 in the EMAC.
