National USCAA Honors Plentiful for Men's Basketball

After a successful regular season, the Stratford University Men's Basketball team brought home some impressive honors on the eve of their first appearance at the USCAA National D1 Tournament, as three members of the Stratford team were named to All-American teams.

Sophomore Jamonte Ricks was named a third team USCAA All-American after averaging 11.5 points/game and 8.0 rebounds/game and junior DeAndre Demiel was named to the USCAA All-American second team after averaging 11.5 points/game, 5.9 assists/game and 2.5 steals/game.  Junior Ronald Davis was name a first team USCAA All-American after averaging 14.0 points/game and 9.2 rebounds/game.

The Cardinals earned the number two overall seed at the USCAA National Tournament and open play on Thursday with a 4:00 pm tip against Bluefield State.
