Men's Basketball Earns the #2 Seed at the USCAA D1 National Tournament

After a successful regular season, the Stratford University men's basketball team has secured their spot at the USCAA Division 1 National Tournament with the number two seed, announced by the USCAA this week.  Stratford opens play in Uniontown, PA on Thursday March 7th with a 4:00 pm game against Bluefield St. College.

Stratford is led by junior Ronald Davis, who averages 14.0 points/game and 9.2 rebounds/game, junior DeAndre Demiel who averages 11.5 points/game, 5.6 assists/game and 2.5 steals/game.  Those numbers are impressive, but it all about the team for the Cardinals as there are four other players who join the Davis and Demiel in double figure scoring averages as Jamonte Ricks is averaging 11.5 points/game, Kendell Shepherd is at 11.2 points/game, Keon Tucker is at 10.5 points/game and Kendall Marshall rounds out the double digit scorers with 10.3 points/game.
