Cardinals Drop First Game of the Year

After two one point victories to open the season, the Lady Cardinals dropped the a game for the first time in program history Saturday night, falling to Andrews University 63-37 at the Penn St. Fayette Tip Off Tournament.

KeShawndra Cooper scored a game high 18 points in her first game action of the year in the loss, while Nyare Evans had a team high 9 rebounds.  Stratford shot 30% from the field and was 2-23 from beyond the three point arc.  

Stratford falls to 2-1 on the year and returns to action on Wednesday evening as they travel to play Washington Adventist at 6:00 pm.
